About Us
Our Story
Long’s Window Cleaning was established in 1957 as a store-front window cleaning company by John J. Long, Jr. In June 1978, ownership was handed down from father to son and from the 1980’s on, the company has continued to expand under the leadership of John J. Long III to become the premier provider of exterior cleaning services for commercial facilities in Eastern PA, NJ, DE and MD.
John has always been a strong proponent of safety and training, evidenced by his involvement in industry organizations. He was a founding member and past president of the International Window Cleaning Association (IWCA), where he provided seminars and training at annual conventions and regional meetings. He was also one of the primary architects of the ANSI/IWCA I-14.1 Window Cleaning Safety Standard.
